carbide forstner bits over 2 inches
Hello everyone,
I've been searching the internet looking for carbide forstner bits to use on the tail stock of lathe to hollow wooden boxes.
I could not find any over 2 inches in diameter, one manufacturer from Austria used to produce them but they have discountinued it.
I was wondering if anyone knows a place where I can find carbide forstner bits over 2 inches?
Thanks and a happy new year to everyone

I saw the 3-1/8" carbide tipped forstner bit is about 800 grams, which made me question the overall length of the bit. I use a Delta Midi lathe and I was wondering if anyone has this 3-1/8" bit and whether the lenght is appropriate to use on a Delta midi lathe. I have a 3" steel bit which weighs about 560 grams or so.
Is 800 grams normal for a 3-1/8 inch bit, or is this bit too long to use a small lathe.
I contacted the website but so far no reply,
Appreciate your help
Sincerely
Erhan Simavi
