chainsaw advice
What I'm after is some advice on purchasing a chainsaw currently have a little poulan which has served me well for backyard trimming of branches and a few 10-12 inch logs sliced up for firewood. Now however I am looking to upscale as now have access to a country property with real size trees and need a larger chainsaw . SWMBO budget allows $1200. Yes I am a noob when it comes to tree felling so am getting help from property owner as he will be dropping the trees what I would like is advice regarding say a general purpose chainsaw that can cut up larger timber without as much struggle. Talked to my local stihl dealer today and they suggest farmboss ms311 or the 391 any comments or feedback on these?
thanksSome people are like slinkies - not really good for anything, but they
bring a smile to your face when pushed down the stairs .

1200 should comfortably get you a makita dcs7901, much better saw than either the ms311 or 391, i brought one about 6 months ago and couldnt be happier.
