And welcome. Not sure what your question is? SDS...self drill screws?
If that is what your after, you can buy the adaptors to fit the self drill screws you are using. Any hardware shop should have them.You put the adaptor in the chuck and away you go.

SDS is a system used on the shanks of rotary hammer drill bits.

It required a special chuck that accepts the SDS shank.

You would need to buy an actual rotary hammer drill with that type of chuck to be able to utilise these bits.

Please note the distinction between a rotary hammer drill, and a conventional (corded or cordless) hammer or impact drill.

Thanks scooter. You learn something every day. I actually have a rotary hammer drill. Been using it for years but i never new the system is called SDS.
I like this forum...you can learn heaps !

Scooter is pretty much on the money here but
You can actually purchase sds adaptors!I am not exactly sure but i think you have to remove your existing chuck which s a simple enough job usually just one Allen Key bolt you will have to get the correct thread to matchthe adaptor
and the sds adaptor screws in its place Milwaukee make them and I think Dewault also Check your local Bunnies Tool section or a reputable Tool shop for more info`

You can get 3 jaw chucks with a SDS input shaft, these mount on the front of a rotary hammer drill in the place of a SDS shanked bit, and enable you to use the drill for conventional drilling (not on hammer).

Could this be what you are thinking of, patty, can't see the logic of the reverse, ie. being able to fit SDS bits to a conventional hammer or impact type drilll, no real benefit over using conventional shanked masonry bits held in the 3 jaw chuck in that type of drill.
