The second one looks the better set. The hammer drill has probably better specs - hence the handle.
The first set might be newer on the market - or because they are brusless indicated by BL on the case.

I have to go with Milwaukee too! I owned a couple of drills in the last couple of years, but I could not recommend this kit enough, it's by far the best. The impact driver is fantastic, with different torque settings, plus, the combo drill is the most powerful I have ever used. Yeah, it is little over $500, but it is well worth your money.

A bit of an update. I ended up with a Dewalt set of two (2) cordless drills, and am suitably impressed.

Whilst I have only had them for circa 6 months, and they are only 2 Amp batteries, I have only charged the batteries once in that time despite using them to demolish a 100 m2 dwelling, substantial mezzanine floor etc. The battery is still strong, which is a change from the previous Makita.

Ergonomically it feels good, and overall I am a very happy chappy.

    Thanks for all the advice.

    Thanks for the update.

Glad you made a choice and that you are happy with it. You are the only one you need to please and it appears that you have chosen wisely.

    Enjoy.
    Regards,
    Bob

Glad you followed my advice ( post #3) he he he..
My son, a tradie who does a lot of roofing swears by his Dewalt tools.
And in an unrelated matter, I like my Dewalt 735 thicknesser, even though it is extremely loud and the blades expensive to replace, and cannot be resharpened
    regards,

    Dengy
