I dont know about who Delta was in Melbourne. But I just found out that Delta was bought out by Black and Decker USA, so was Portacable. Black and Decker over here is, from what i know, is Dewalt. Bit sad realy.

Carba-tec used to stock Delta but I don't know if they still do. They had a run of damaged trunnions on their table saws and may have dropped the brand.

They was talking about problems they had with delta benchtop jointers when I got the carbatec benchtop yesterday.that went wrong.
I am after something similar if I can get it.....if we cant fix the carbitec jointer
The benchntops are pretty hard to get which is a pity cos it suits xactly what I want and can just fit in my cramped little shed.
I dont want to get a big floor job cos it just aint gonna fit..ray c
