Diamond Core Cutting Bits
Hi all,
looking for some advice. I have a 100mm Diamond tipped holesaw and I need to cut a hole in a concrete wall. I want to use a 1500W SDS Rotary Hammer Drill. Does anyone know if it will handle the task.
When I have seen these used in the past I am sure I have seen these using water to cool the bit down meaning the Rotary Hammer Drill wouldnt work.
Thoughts anyone?
Thanks very much.Eagle
I am not young enough to know everything.

When using a diamond core drill you wouldn't engage the hammer action, so if your drill has a hammer stop setting it should work fine. I've seen them used dry on vertical surfaces as it's too hard to get a decent water feed in this situation unless you have a purpose made machine.

depends on what you call a diamond cutter. Is it basically a holesaw with a diamond "grit" coating or is it a big mother thing with diamond segment teeth ?
I love Triton wetstone grinders they make my Tormek look soooooo soooooo good.
