Dust Hose for Bosch GEX 125 AVE Pro Sander
Hi,
Has anyone come up with an easy way to make a quick-change dust hose for a Bosch GEX 125 sander? OD 26mm threaded, ID~220mm.
It seems that one used to come as standard with the US & UK shipped model, but the seem impossible to order now.
Am using good old fashioned duct tape now, but it's a pain when you want to detatch. Am thinking of 3D printing an adaptor unless anyone can suggest an easier alternative.
Cheers, Flames

I assume you mean ID ~22mm?
What are you connecting to?
I connect most of my power tools to 50 mm hose so I use the
32-40 mm version of these

and then some regular PVC fittings to connect into the hose.
These adapters clamp down a lot further than indicated and I adjust them so they push on and one turn of a screwdriver is enough to hold them.
The also calm over oval and rounded rectangular ports on power tools.

I have a 26mm ID soft plastic push on fitting that screws on to a hose that I roughly measure at 31mm OD, so I guess it's 32mm. It came as part of a power tool dust hose connection kit that I got as a sample from a Taiwanese supplier. I decided not to import any of the kits because I found that the supplied parts fitted hardly any of my hand held power tools. I've got no idea where you could buy this fitting as a single piece, but it could be worth an internet search.
However, between the fittings suggested by BobL (which do come in a range of sizes) and a scavenge through the radiator/heater hoses at your local automotive specialist (or mechanic if you want one for free) you should be able to cobble together something that is a push on pull off fit to your sander.

I ordered one from Amazon USA. Number is VAC024. Search for the Thread " Bosch GEX 135 Ros - anybody here use one." or "VAC024"
About $40 from memory.

What Lappa said.
Plus as a 'bonus' you can also peruse other amazon tool offerings that are not available here.

$40, ouch! At that price it could be worth having a look at the offerings from Rockler. Rockler - Search Results for small tool dust
