electric nailers
Does anyone have experience with electric nailers?
I want to fire some lightweight brads into 16 mm melamine chipboard (just to hold the parts prior to screwing). There are various brands around including GMC and Bosch (green) and they are relatively cheap.
[I can't justify the cost of a decent compressor and air nailer at the moment]

My partner has the Arrow etf50? (yellow) stapler. The Bosch one with the variable control was a bit out of our budget when we bought it.
I have used it for cabinet building but it will only fire brads up to 16mm long which was ok for attaching masonite to the back of the cabinets but no good for much else.
I don't know what the Bosch or GMC ones will do, after my biscuit jointer I am less than impressed with GMC
Just looking at the Bosch website their smaller one has a similar capacity

I know Arrow make larger units as there was a little catalogue in the box for my partners, but I have not seen them in shops here
