Bought their Electric planer. Good unit but you can't get right up to a corner with it.
Bought their Axe the other day. It's a block splitter type with a 2kg. head. Perfect
for the job I needed to do with it!

I find a bottle of the Aldi butterscotch schnapps on ice cream helps overcome problems with their other products....

We've bought a lot of different products over the last few years, and I reckon our satisfaction rate is about 50%. Bought the knife sharpener last week, and it does a brutal job of sharpening knives. I don't think the blades will last more than a couple of years if we sharpen it too often, and it blues the edge if you don't keep it moving fairly quickly past the wheel. And, boy is it noisy! If I was using it in a workshop I'd have ear protection, doors shut, and only use it during the day!
Cheers, Richard

seems they have some more stuff on this weekend if you follow the OPs link? 3 year warranty mentioned on the twin saw ...
I find it a bit of a giggle really sometimes. My local one has Taurus brand cutoff saws for sale all the time ... or maybe it's just these 3 that no one ever buys?
My "spend50buckstocuttimeinhalftools" are all ozito or the lime green ryobi.
Obviously something you'll use repeatedly spend a few bills for something decent
