Hi Chippie24, I'm not sure if it's the model you are looking at but I've got the Dewalt DC618, which is a finish nailer, not a framer (I didn't think Dewalt did cordless framers). Anyway, it's a good nailer and does what I need it to - very few jams, no gas etc and the batteries are compatible with some of my other tools. The only issue I have with it is that the nails can be hard to come by as not many places stock the Dewalt brand. I'm sure some of the other brands will work in it but I don't know which ones. Cheers, Steve.

Thanks steve. I've got the aeg cordless nailer similar to yours but the one im looking at is the dewalt dcn690m1. Its the same as yours but a framer. There about $700 on there own which is a heck of alot. There hard to find in melbourne. Just wanted to see if there any good as my makita is annoying me.

No worries Chippie24, if I was going to spend that much I'd get a Paslode. I've got a Paslode framer and a bradder and they are excellent guns. As much as I like my Dewalt, the Paslodes are better, and cheaper than $700 too
