How about ; cheap, rough, innacurate, destined for premature expiration, glorified landfill, manufactured using slave labour.

I have had a GMC SCMS for a couple of years and have had very good service from it, for the price I believe it is a good buy.
It may need the adjustments checked and adjusted first up but that is nothing unusual. The only drawback is the noise.

Go on.......be a sport! Make Neil and Pauline some dining tables!

Sorry I can't offer anything serious as I have never used the saw in question. Obviously with GMC though, you get what you pay for. Some people reckon excellent value for money, some reckon they are a POS.
The one GMC tool that I own is a belt sander. I needed a belt sander for one task and one task only, and no-one I knew had one to lend me. It was going to cost me $30 to hire one for the day, but only $40 to own a blue monster. I've used it twice now so it has paid for itself. I wouldn't have bought it if I was going to use it a lot, and certainly not if I used it for my profession. But for what I needed.......(shrug)

    I tried out the SMS250LS.
    Needs a better blade.
After initially setting it up it cut accurately
Biggest problem it is very noisy.

Growing old is much better than the alternative!

Probably not a good idea to ask the same question in 2 forums..... Threads have been merged.
