    Default Lamello Biscuit Joiner

    Im in the market for a new Biscuit Joiner.
    I know traditional joinery cant be beaten. I've always stuck by the way I was taught, and used joinery for all my work, but sometimes I feel the odd biscuit here and there would speed things up, and not compromise the work too much.
    Ok, The festool Domino would be the ideal tool for my needs, but 1: But it's not been released in these parts yet, and I have no idea when it will reach here:confused: 2: The price would be about yen:100,000:eek: I grudge paying this type of money (I cant really afford it...)
    This brings me to Lamello. I hear they are very well made, will last, and can be used in a small production environment. I havent used one or even had a good look at one in the "flesh". I'm wondering if anyone has one , or has used one? Im looking at the new C3 or the Experta.
    Any recommendations or experiences with lamello would help me make a sound decision/investmaent.

    Was in a shop the other day and saw a Lamello unit, didn't look too closely as the A$850.00 price tag scared me off. I have the 1200w GMC unit, does all I want.

    Yep, I've used a Lamello in a school environment, which is probably harder than any production environment. It's well made and the quality shows in the result. However, only you can know whether it's good value at the price. If you're going to use it a lot, I'd say it is.

    Default lamello

    Lamello were the originators of the biscuit machines. Lamello is only the attatchment on the front as they used metabo motors to drive them. There is a lot of joinerys that use this model and you will not hear any complaints from them. They are a well built peice of machinery. You pay for what you get.

    The famed Lamello Biscuit Joiner, eh?
    As far as I am concerned, it lives up to its reputation as the Rolls Royce of plate joiners...
