    Question Left Tilt and Incra

    Hi
A couple of questions regarding the jet range of table saws and Incra mitre guage
I would like to put on the incra 1000e mitre guage on either the Jet 10 inch 3 hp model or the supersaw. When the blade is tilted (left hand) will it foul on the mitre guage . Is it possible to use the guage on the right hand mitre slot.
What effect does mitreing with the blade at left tilt and mitre guage on left side. (safety etc, will only be mitreing 90 ml boards.)
I am considering getting the Jet 10 in 3 hp model over the supersaw as I don.t need the sliding table. Is this a better quality machine?
    Thankyou Kepp

Default incra gauge on jet saw

I have a supersaw and I asked Geoff? from Professional Woodworkers? at the Melb WWW this year and he told me that the incra guides and gauges can be reversed - I'm pretty sure that he said the scales would have to be turned around but I may be wrong.
I can say that the Incra v27 mitre gauge works accurately and well in the right track of my supersaw - I have the sliding table.
    regards,

Yes, the mitre gauge can be reversed. Or you can slide it away from the blade and use a sacrificial secondary fence through which you can happily run the blade.

I would never consider a table saw that has only one mitre slot, which the last time I checked, is the case with the Jet Supersaw. You will regret not being able to make jigs that run in both tracks and to being limited to working only one side of the blade.
