Thread: Mafell Power tools

Hi All

just want to give a thumbs up to Mafell Tools.

I purchased a KSS40 cordless power saw and have to say it's one of the nicest power tools I've ever owned.

Superbly made,Super light weight and powerful for such a small saw.

These tools can be purchased on Ebay Germany as a bare tool.
They can be powered the excellent METABO LiHD batteries which can be purchased in Oz and are the saw is also compatible with the BOSCH FSN Guide rails which are superior to the Festool System and cheaper as well.

The 2 limitations are Price and DOC.Its only 40mm so not good for 45mm studs.
Also blades have to be purchased from overseas.

All Mafell users are waiting with baited breath on the soon to be released KSS 50 which was displayed at the recent LIGNA trade show at Hannover.
The also exhibited a cordless plunge saw.
