Makita saws $120
I was in Bunnies yesterday and they had 7 1/4 saws for about $120. I was in a hurry so didn't get a good look but a year ago, I think they were about twice this price, didn't get the model number and if I get time I'll go back and get it.

I think that a lot of power tools are showing signs of being on the way out now in favour of cordless.I've noticed that on building sites around Brisbane and the Gold Coast most chippies are now using cordless saws (de Walt, Makita and Hitachi). I recently bought one of the Hitachi saws and lent it to SWMBO to build a chook pen. She absolutely loved it, and all I have to do is get a new blade for it.
