    Default MAKTEK Cordless Drill

    Hi All,
    Is the MAKTEK brand Makita or part thereof?
    Special on in Adelaide with Gasweld, MAKTEK 12V Cordless Drill , 2x Batteries, I suppose a charger has to come with it? Case? doesn't say in the add....anyway $99 was $145.Thought it sounded ok?

    Maktec is Makita's Home handyman line, similar to Bosch's green series of tools.

    Personally, if you are going to use the tool regularly, I would purchase the Makita. If you are agoing to use it infrequently, maybe a GMC, with similar specifications and the Two year warrenty.

    I own several Makita power tools and never had any trouble, I also own several GMC , again with no trouble.

    I have no propriety interest in either company!

    Thanks Pat,
    I also have several Makita power tools and likewise have had no problems with any of them.Haven't tried any GMC gear as yet.
