Thread: METABO C.drill battery?

What you appear to have is an 18V NiCad battery. I suspect your only options are to replace the drill or repack the battery.

Are you after a new battery because yours has died as it won't hold or take charge.

Nicad cells can be rejuvenated but it requires some electronic knowledge.

It is relatively easy to replace the NiCads in a battery pack as they use standard cells which are readily available.

I was able to buy a new battery for my BST18 last year, I just had the local tool store order one in but it was expensive.
