rail and style router bits
hi all
has any one used these bits for cabinet door making
and can put me on track for a good quality bit and where to purchase

Yes, you may also require a panel raising bit depending on the design of your door.

Make sure you route your end grain firstly before routing the long grain edges to avoid unsightly splinters.

The panel raising bits are very large, watch your speed, needs to be very slow.
The vertical panel raising bits can be used at full speed but need a high fence for support.
Growing old is much better than the alternative!

Carbatec.
I personally didn't like the complete set of 3 bits - raile, stile and panel raising bits as I didn't like the profile of the panel bit to the rail and stile set, so I bought http://www.carbatec.com.au/rail-stil...-guides_c18180 and 890-505-11 of Raised Panel Bits w/ Bearing Guides : CARBA-TEC
The bits are very pricey but I have used them a great deal.
