    Default Rip saw on Ebay

It's a ripper! check it out here Not sure whether it has enough power though, and certain people may have a bias against the motor brand.

If you're laminating bridge arches or aircraft hangers, that is.

I'd convert it to a holden V8 and 5 speed.
Ford 4.1, 3 speed wouldn't be too productive I'd imagine.

Maybe even a mazda rotary with 4 on the workshop floor

When you see what the old swingsaws could rip with only a 12hp JAP engine any modern 6 cyl engine would have more than enough power.
