    Default rockwell jigsaw

    i was looking for a jigsaw and ive heard rockwell is good in america and they seem like pretty good value, but i was wondering if anyones ever used one of there australian models? i was looking at a 750w one on ebay heres the link http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ROCKWELL-750W...3286.m20.l1116 so i was wondering if its any good?

    hey mate i was nlooking at the rockwell line up in mitre 10 today and my opinion was they were cheap mock ups of the more expensive brands mainly being maita and dewalt, wouldnt have a clue of the quality though

    thats kinda what i thought but i read a good review of there sonicrafter and in america they seem quite popular. i noticed the more expensive brands like festool dont have anything over 720w wich makes me think the wattage is being over rated ive heard thats common umoung cheap power tools. bit of a toss up but it sounds a bit too cheap

    mate i think the best way to go about buying a tool is buy the best possible quality tool you can that will fit in your budget it might be a big initial layout but in the long run will you still have the good tool 10 years later, but if you buy crap it will most likely die and you will have to replace it anyway. I think many forumite would agree
