I think it is opposite Chirnside park, or that may be black and decker.....

There was one on Stud Rd, just opposite Kellets rd lights in Rowville. I think it's still there.

Theres one just before oban rd / mahroondah highway just after the mitre 10 mega store same side .its disguise as a liesure gear \ camping joint but they have heaps of ryobi warranty returns.

I work in Rowville and live in East Ringwood so can shine some light on these posts. The Ryobi shop at their Rowville factory closed some 4 months ago. The Lifestyles shop at the corner of Oban Road and Maroondah Highway no longer sells power tools, they gave up the idea and that part of the business is now in a factory next to The Rock storage complex off Lusher Road, Croydon but that now only sells refurbished GMC stuff. For those that don't know The Rock storage facility, it is where The Woodsmith is. The GMC outlet is in the neighbouring warehouse/building/complex....

Sorry - but Lusher road Croydon refurbished GMC tools has also closed down. Went there last week to try to find them & the adjoining factory said they thought they had moved to Knoxfield - but I can't find them. Their name was Croydon Bargain Factory. Also rang GMC head office but they know of no-one selling returns or reburished power tools. Can anyone tell me of a clearance centre or reburished power tool outlet except the Arlec one in Chirnside Park that I have already been to??

I have been to Arlec also, and their tools are rubbish, but there is a Black & Decker and Dewalt factory outlet in Chirnside Park on Fletcher Road, I bought a Nail Gun and Drill from there a few years back.

Gidday Keith, I'm a Truckie and i used to deliver to Ryobi in Rowville. Ryobi has a factory outlet shop at the front of the old Ryobi distribution centre on Stud Rd. Rowville Vic. About 2 years ago, Ryobi closed down the Melb D.C. in favor of distributing out of Sydney. However, it was decided that the returns shop was to stay at the current location. The warehouse has been let out to one of those $2 shop mobs, the Ryobi shop is at the front on the north side of the building. Can't remember the number on Stud Rd. But it's right accross from the Kellets Rd. intersection I dont know if it is still there today, but i have purchased many power tools from there over the years VERY cheap, saved a fortune on retail. Bazza was my contact there. I used to deliver their containers. If you find it is still there, Ask for bazza, mention Deano sent you. Best of luck mate. Deano. I though that place in Rowville was Sctil (However you spell it!) or something. I'll drive past today on the way to M&D's and take a gander. Will confirm tonight. The Black and Decker place in Chirnside Park is good. I got my Mouse sander from there. Was $30 instead of $50.

I've just found a tax invoice from a few years back and it states,,

There is no shop at Ryobi in Stud Road Rowville as was stated in an earlier post it has been closed/gone for ages.... If you are looking for an authorised Ryobi (also Triton, Hitachi ) service centre, it is Allied Power Tools

The Ryobi outlet in Ringwood is also long gone... The place in Chirnside Park is definitely Dewalt/Black and Decker.

For those on the other side of town, there is a non-Ryobi branded outlet on Normanby Rd, Thornbury opposite the golf course that sells Ryobi warranty returns.
