    Default Shocked & confused

Just had to make a temporary drain cover, the original our lecky broke by driving over it. Used 200 x 50 with the off cuts sawn down as bracing. Thought that this is just the job to use my recently purchased Bosch GDX 18v brushless to drive the hex bolts in with for the bracing....it struggled. Checked the battery indicator...full. Picked up my old hitachi (brushed) impact which has been standing on the work bench for 3 odd months, and it never missed a beat, no effort and straight in...am i missing something here with Bosch or brushless ??

Is that the impact driver? If it is it should have done it easily.
Maybe time to take it back and get a replacement if only just purchased.
