Supplier of spring steel in Sydney??
I have been inspired by the back saw project on the Norsewoodsmith site (talk about a dark sider!!). If you haven't seen the site the link is as follows:
I am going to have a go at making a saw. So that the saw actually looks like new from the start, I would like to find a supplier of blue tempered spring steel; in Sydney preferably but Australia wide is OK. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Also, whilst we are on the subject, he mentions epoxy for joining the steel into the milled brass slot of the back. Any tips on what I can use for that?
