Titan
Well after months of searching flea markets I have managed to start my collection of Titan chisels. $5 for a 12mm with more to come. The old bloke I got it off plans to set any more aside for me as he finds them. Its had a litlle bit of use but I am on my way.
Dave,

Good on you Bluegum. These chisels are rippers. What kind did you get? Standard square sided firmer or bevelled edge? You can also find bevelled edge socket Titans if you are very lucky. I have a few Titans and I love them.

There's still plenty around
Hi Bluegum. I recently bought 4x long bladed Titan paring chisels on eBay and have found them to be very nice quality indeed. They appear to be 30-40 years old but are in great shape - maybe part of a set? The blades are all over 330mm long, so they're great for cleaning up (only!) deep mortices or hand trimming tenons etc. There's still plenty of Titan stuff out there - you just have to be patient.

Does anyone have a link to the range of chisels and the dates of production of Titan Chisels?
Did the company make anything else besides chisels?

Hi, I have numerous titan chisels. tanged bevel, tanged firmer, tanged registered mortice, tanged firmer gouge and socket firmer. I don't have any of the paring chisels. All the chisels came in 1/8" increments. Titan also made plane blades for stanley planes and drill bits for hand braces.
There is probably more that they made, I'll be interested as well.

I picked up 8 Titans at MIK a few months back. One of the local schools traded them in and they went straight on the MIK specials table. Despite years of abuse in a school woodwork room they sharpened up really beautifully and are doing good service in the workshop.

Titan Poster
Hi everyone, atm there is an item on Bpay regarding titan chisels. It is a poster/ad sign from the guys at titan depicting their range of chisel styles
with text describing what each style is used for.
Greater variety than I previously thought.
As to other 2nd hand chisels, I've also found sorby, marples, almost anything from shefield or sweden to be good.
Good luck!
