    Default TSC10HB wing tables

    Hi guys,

I have just received my TSC10HB from Timbecon and as part of the packaging, the wing tables and the top were protected with a thin plastic film. so I removed it and on the table a sort of lubricant has been rubbed. Well I guess it was a lubricant but now this lubricant has dried out and is sticky.

this might sound a stupid question but how would you removed that with rusting the cast iron top and wing tables?
I was thinking of turpentine but I am not sure
I intend to apply some of this silverglide product once I have removed this sticky dried lubricant
    Thanks

Kerosene and white spirit will both do it. It is a wax like anti rust protectant that the factories apply.
