Brewcraft Kronenbourg 1664
I was given a complete kit for this. I brewed it in about March
1. Brewcraft munich lager
2. Black Rock light malt - liquid
3. Saaz hops 10g ?
4. Hallertau hops 10g ?
Saflager yeast
boiled malt and some water and added hops for about 5 minutes.
added to fermenter with brewcraft and then added yeast.
fermented at about 18 degrees, which was a bit warm for lager yeast
Makes a great beer, but nothing like Kronenbourg. Has quite a strong hop taste and bitterness, which i like in a beer. It doesn't have that typical European lager tangy taste
Reatains an excellant head, as you can see in the photo. I poured it about 10 minutes earlier

Had I poured it, it would have been an empty glass very soon after!

What a nice tasting glass? I bet it stayed there that long because you'd poured a pint and had that somewhere else in the bar.
