Stump now measures 2400mm long x 2000mm wide
Yesterday retrieved a spanner from the last pocket of dirt ...glad the chainsaw found it and not the mill!
Pics include a side view of the Stump where the fiddleback becomes prominent and a 125mm x 125mm square piece that is heavily figured.
Not far away from getting into fiddly stuff...MMMapleman

Its been a mammoth task for you Chris but it looks like you are winning and being rewarded for your trouble with the treasures inside with the grain as well as the unwanted metal objects
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

Huge task for one bloke Rod ...but yes slowly but surely getting there
Spanners, glass, bits of bottles, steel rio, fibro, nails to name a few items found thus far!
Been a labor of love...or craziness
Only stuffed 2 chains so far which in my opinion is doing well
Thanks for your interest and replies too Rod...your input is much valued...MMMapleman

That spanner is cool! Could be used on a piece made out of this timber. Has a nice story to it. I wonder how long it would have been there for.
