Well, ran the hand plane over the small bit of the three you sent me and then washed it with turps to see what came up
    DSC00889.jpg

Reckon I'm gonna frame it, call it 'Flinders Ranges from the Air' and ask five grand for it

Amazing Chris - seen some 3D looking stuff before but nothing as entrancing and enchanting as this little bit. haven't even looked at the other two yet.

By the way, every time i read one of your posts these days I think you are signing off with Mmmmm (yum) instead of MM (Mapleman) Wouldn't blame you, I'm thinking Mmmmm at the moment.

I have been quietly watching the pics of the timber in this piece
Sad to hear there will be no more soon
Where will it be put up for sale ? In forum market place or elsewhere ?

Nooo, I've really enjoyed seeing all the fabulous timber comming from this stump & have been waiting for some to come up on the marketplace. I hope whoever ends up with it continues to mill it & offers some on here.
Enjoy your trip & look after yourself.

May well be milling the rest of the Stump in the next few days woollybugger
The carby packed it in last week on the Lucas (black smoke coming out of exhaust and exhaust vents)
Fortunately 'santa' sent a carby kit up from Lucas and will be fitted next day or so,enabling me to continue on ...this 'santa' saved me from spending the $220 that i didn't have...thanks Stewart
Still relocating but will be able to finish the milling now hopefully
Which means a few more pics to follow!
May be heading down towards the snow and the Camphor may be coming with...MM

I got to see this camphor today (and got some to call my very own), it's unbelievable! And what's still to come out of the stump should be even more jaw dropping, given how huge it is still.

My advice to anyone who might want any camphor for either now or any future projects is to get in touch with MM and start throwing money at him .
