Default Carl and Al's little adventure...

Well I'm gonna be offline for a while.... Carl and I have a little adventure we are about to set forth on down the coast - will be living away from home whilst playing with our mills. Needless to say Carl will probably have internet access, but my desktop doesn't travel as easy as his laptop.

I'm sure there will be plenty of pics and a bit of an entertaining read for the most part

Yeah I ended up having Macca's with my girls so I reckon all in all it was a better night :P

Well we're back from our little week, but photos coming tomorrow, too stuffed to mess around tonight - Gunna sit back with my little girl and watch a movie tonight ( more likely check my eyelids for holes )

you know the rule guys pics or it didn't happen!
I am told that sharpening handsaws is a dying art.... this must mean I am an artisan.

Get your handsaws sharpened properly to the highest possible standard, the only way they should be done, BY HAND, BY ME!!! I only accept perfection in any saw I sharpen.

    Default The pile

Here's my couple of pics showing the pile when we got there Monday last week.

After quickly realising there was no way we could mill them where they where, we brainstormed different ideas but ended up going with Carls idea of getting a crane truck in to move the logs around the other side of the house. Couldn't get a truck til the next morning so we set up both mills and got our milling are ready for Tuesday.
