    Default chain brake kit for a Stihl 076?

    Hi folks
    Does anyone know where I can purchase a chain brake kit for a Stihl 076?

    Stihl no longer stocks them

    you have a few options But the quickest way I know of is to go to this web site
    Husqvarna Chainsaws, Outdoor Power Equipment and Tree Care Supplies from Bailey's and look through their spares I ve also used
    these guys Chainsawr World's largest inventory of Chainsaw Parts

    while on the subject of the 076 i have a ts 760 which i would like to mount on a alaskan for milling anybody know whats involved

    look up chainsaw parts on ebay.com [usa ] some amazing spares available as they seem to hang on to the older saws , cheers Bob

    Firstly check the compression and perform a crankcase test. Concrete cutting saws are usually poorly treated and maintained and have a much shorter lifetime than regular saws.

    There are a few guys on the Arborsite that have done this. The Arborsite search engine is cactus but here is one lead I found.

    unit is in good cond and well maintained for a ex hire machine had to laugh these units come with a special plug for an oil cap special tool req or tap off with screwdriver took it off myself to look how clean it was and yes some nuf nuf have at some stage filled with 2 stroke
