Chasing Course Sawdust
Hi,
I was wonderinf if anyone in the WA area (preffably close to Bullsbrook) is looking to get rid of Course Sawdust. Mainly pine, Karri or bluegum. I am happy to take it off your hands as I have 6 horses and need it for the stables. Be great if its bagged if not I can supply bags (if the hubby hasnt thrown them all out).
Thanks

My wife rides horses and would take everything I generate except mine has loads of mineral bar oil through it and I'm told horses don't like that. The sawdust I make is also sprayed over an area of about 3 m x (length of the log + 5 m) so it forms a fairly thin coating on the ground and unless I were to mill on concrete, raking it up is gonna pick up lots of other stuff.
Cabinet makers and joinery shops used to be a better source except they use so much MDF these days that makes it unusable in stables.
Your next shot is probably a swing millers. We got some sawdust off Burnsy once but he has now sold his mill.

I generate a fair amount of it but I do bag it and then sew the tops and sell it for $6 per bag to horse people and chook owners for bedding. Just thought I'd mention it incase you get stuck...
