    Then Blue Gum it is! Log had bugger all sap,making it a joy to mill,will be back into the rest of it tomorrow,can't wait.Wish i could mill and sleep at the same time

    As far as i know, it (eucalyptus tereticornis) has two names. Qld Blue Gum or Forest Red Gum.

    since teh dawn of time.

    but that is a nice example of qld bluegum it dose get that nice grain from time to time.

    have you dressed that or is it straight off the saw?

    Trade name is forest red gum, local names are Qld blue gum & a few others.

    Not dressed,just splashed so water on it,straight off the saw! Will post some more pics today
