Home Milling
Was milling a few more boards of spotted gum this evening for the school project and had a visit from the site supervisor. There is three of them that arrive around the same time each evening to sit on the mill and Maya's swing set and pick bugs off the lawn. Surprised me when he landed there mid cut, had to go get the camera.

So hows the timber milling going Mike? grrrrrrrrrrrrr
Actually mate Ive had a couple of offers from a couple of the blokes at work including the supervisor... they have some bush acres down south one wants to clear about an acre for a house and the other wants to clear about 10 acres... neither want to waste the timber (Jarrah Karrie Marri etc) so wont drop them till they find a miller they can work a barter with one will share equally the timber results and the other will pay cash with offset in timber... ala why Im now trying to work the funds from the sale of the house to fit a mill into my future
So no I wont pass on their names an numbers
Anyhoo mate you gettin shyteloads of work for it? makin money or timber? If money how have you worked out the cost / charge?
Cheers
