horizontal bandsaw milling in brisbane???
Hi to all members. From what i am starting to understand - (and perhaps someone can correct me).....I am trying to figure out if there is someone in the Brisbane area with a horizontal bandsaw milling setup. I have accumulated a number of logs that i would like to get milled, but my current choices in getting this small amount milled is limited to chainsaw or circular saw milling configurations....is there anyone in brisbane that has the horizontal bandsaw milling setup???.....if not - looks like i will have to add this to my list of DIY projects.
looking forward to anyones input here......thanks in advance....

I don't know of anyone around us that has one, but that is not to say I know everyone, so you might be lucky.

hi sigidi,
the logs arent very large ....450mm dia max. maybe about 1.5 long.....just not so keen about the wastage factor with chainsaw driven and circular saw cutting....too much wastage considering the size of the logs...

Horizontal Bandsaw Mill
I sold mine to a forum member from Ipswich. His name is lyndellb. You could PM him and see if he would bewilling to help out. As horizontal millsare not usually portable you would have to take the logs to his place. The logs a just long enough to be set up onthe mill.
