I got a call earlier in the week from one of the ladies I got some of this from. She has another claret ash for me, will be coming down in about 6 weeks. I said I will take it, then had to explain my actions to my partner [emoji53].... fast running out of room!

Sounds like a good person to keep happy. She may also spread the word you want/use timber to others.

Think elevation, i.e. layering up, my slabs get stacked pretty high . You can also advise you intend selling them, thus more money for the budget, rather than sitting around waiting for you to make something out of them. Think discussions along the lines of "gee babe, thick a slab = pair of shoes" LOL

Yes she is! I ride around the hills for work, talk to everyone I see about trees that may be coming down. I have a few more to get too. I have one stack that is 6' high, this lot will do that and more. Will find the room for it! The reason for getting into milling was more to do with finding timber that isn't the norm to make more interesting furniture out of. I didn't plan on selling the timber I mill. May be an avenue though if I get too much, or move to a bigger plot of land [emoji15]

Mine are 2.4m high (i.e. to the rafters in the carport) tied down with ratchet straps

I would be happy to have them that high but the carport is out of bounds! Mine are ratchet strapped too! Sheets of iron over the top to keep the weather out as much as possible also.

That property you listed Just dreaming......, would give you plenty of storage room.
If you find you've too much timber, I'm sure you won't have any trouble selling any of it . You're only around the corner, so I could load up and take some off your hands, if you get desperate for a NEW pair of shoes for the good lady.
