Lucas retipping
Picked up my blades from the saw Dr last week. $93.50 to re tip check tension & sharpen. I feel they do a great job with a quick turn around, but what is every one else paying??
its only short one end!!

Just got two blades back from my guy in Gympie - less than $105 for full re-tip on 10" blades (biggest tips you can get, so most expensive) and one re-tension. Have paid $99 here in brissy for a re-tip only, still works out cheaper for me to overnight courier two blades up to him than pay prices here in Brissy and besides in Brissy they do a ##### job anyway...
If you are handy and have the gear - get onto Lucas and get ya hands on the re-tipping jig...admittedly you will still need to outsource tensioning, but if ya look after your blades tension you won't need it often. I'm led to belive they have changed the re-tipping jig to make it much more accurateI love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!

Skippy, of the 5 different Doc's I've tried over 10 years - Graham is by far the best. Even down here in Bris-vegas, I send my blades to Graham. Also I know I'm not the only one, another miller I did some work for about year and a half ago (down near Yatala) sends his blades to Graham too - come to thinkk of it, I have two to send off for Weisyboy I better get onto...
I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
