Default Any Rockhampton small Millers? Plus working out needed sizes

I’ve got 50 acres and 30 of that is thick bush land. Nothing massive but would like someone to come mill as much as they want in exchange for timber.

Was as told by a Gold exploration company it’s deffinitky worth looking into as they appear pretty stright.

As as I want to build a kit home and instead of colour bond cladding go rough cut timber maybee also some decking. Maybee a few hardwood fence posts. But don’t expect any $$$ to exchange hands. Is there a standard ratio eg you get 2 logs I get one.

Plus id like some logs to use as posts and beams for a shed how to you work out sizes ect as I’d like a long span.

Failing that is there a machine I could looking into that could do that for me?

Don't know of any saw millers that way, but our Woodturning Club bought a Lucas Mill. It's a very simple machine to set up and operate, the one we got was the smallest that they do, we're able to cut 100 X 100 posts with it as a saw, we also purchased a chainsaw slabber, that will cut up to 900 wide.
A large number of these particular machines have been sold to Papua New Guinea, for the use by natives to carry in and cut their own timber for Village use.
The cost from memory was around the 7K mark all up, including freight to SA.
All we have to do is find felled trees to practice on.

you are welcome to come to rocky and try. Might try finding a local wood worker group thanks for that idea there bound to know who can do that kind of work. Yea i have nothing massive but would be great for wood turners and smaller projects. Have trees 30cm+ round.

Could be worth purchasing one at that cost saw online chainsaw mills are under $300 on ebay that would do my slabs easy enough.
Im not even sure what kind of mills i need.
