    Default Square logs

At last a log for the sawmiller. Check out this blackwood log that I cut up today. Wish they were all like this. (Maybe it's been genetically modified). Got some nice slabs too.

    cheers

Thats as good as it gets - what diameter? 600-700mm? A local Dorrigo log?

I think it is a relatively common phenomenon in Black woods and Light woods. Around my way I've seen quite a few vaguely squarish logs. Things is I used to cut them up for fire wood. I would not do that now that I know better )

Steve, are any of those slabs for sale, or was it a contract milling job?
