I used realplayer. The basic version is free and works well.

That is the root ball. I think the reporter is well away from it. Deceptive camera shot.

If I can add an informative comment here for newbies ......log cutters should be aware that root balls can fall either way. This dude could have just as easily ended up under that mass of grass, wood and earth with his saw beside him When cutting wind blown timber be aware of this and cut the log off further up.
