New wood yard
Finally got set up in the new yard after some issues with the local council. Here's some photos of it, the new firewood processor and some logs.
Thanks Tim uploadfromtaptalk1411616273178.jpguploadfromtaptalk1411616288599.jpguploadfromtaptalk1411616303480.jpguploadfromtaptalk1411616322277.jpguploadfromtaptalk1411616337283.jpguploadfromtaptalk1411616367951.jpg

Yeah buy them in from local sawmill for firewood as they are a waste product and they have to get rid of it

All firewood ?? Some of them look good enough to mill.
Maybe a Lucas Mill next to the firewood processor.

A new 10/30 hopefully early next year permanent setup under cover with slabbing attachment. Here's some spotted gum and ironbark stacked up ready to go.

Little confused....
These pieces are 'waste' from a sawmill.
And you pay for the 'waste' because they have to get rid of it.
Why?
If the pieces are waste, I would think they would deliver them to you for free, just to keep from having to pay for waste/dump fees. I know my 'top slabs/waste' costs me $7/cubic yard! I'd love to find someone to pay for my 'scrap'!!

Unfortunately because of legal reasons they cannot give anything away, I have to sign paperwork with the sawmill and the epa proving that I am doing something with the timber not just dumping it even the truck driver has to sign his life away. The mill has a chain of responsibility right to the end of the line.

The timber is the right price it's the freight that costs because of there regulations we can only use steel tippers that are fully covered in so no chance of materials ending up on the roads because it comes back to the mill as a failure in there waste management practices
