Brisbane TWWW - parking
Seems a shame the parking fees are almost as much at the admission fees - $13 p/day or $25 with a trailer. Doesn't look like the Ekka Association is doing show organisers any favours, considering General Admission is $16 (or $12 with the forum arrange price) Wasn't that long ago onsite parking was $5.
May have to reconsider where I want to go now.

$15 does seem steep, I remember when it was $5, but I always compare it to the alternatives..
Public transport for me would be $7.50 each way...there's $15.00..It would take at least 90 mins plus walk from the Valley railway station and would not have an easy way to get any purchases home.
If I take the van it costs me the same...$15.00 .....take me 20 mins each way and have the convenience of the van to take my purchases and I can leave when ever I want...not wait for a train to coincide with walking to the station at the right time.
