I'll give it a go
Well, I agree with John (Gawdelpus), never volunteer - but the forums are great value (no cost, lots of benefits) so (indrawn breath) count me in, preferably at some time when someone experienced can show me the ropes.

Superbunny, sadly I have to withdraw this year.
In all likelihood, SWMBO will probably still be relying on me for mobility assistance for another month or so. She is recoverng well but as the household's only driver, I can't risk straying too far from home.

Looks good as far as my times are concerned SB. I will hang about & do the second person in the 3-4 slot on the Friday as well (unless someone else desperately wants that slot).
And I can also hang about & help pack up on the Sunday, too, if you like.
Cheers,
PS: Hope you're better soon (& certainly non-infectious by the show! )IW

Thanks for the heads up, yes I had not seen the contact phone numbers at the bottom as I was too focused on getting the basic roster out. I will correct this on the mark 2 roster soon. I'm still sick but getting better. What I like being off sick is that when I get back to my students, they always say we are happy your back, we didn't realise how good a teacher you are but we do now after the performance of your fill in.

Saturday morning
Superbunny,
sorry to complicate things but if you could possibly move me into the 10-11 slot asopposed to the 11-12 slot on the Saturday that would help me out being able toalso attend some last minute sporting commitments with the kids.
regards
Flindersia

Yep all looks good for me ... dont know what you are chasing as I have not looked at the list but I can do a stint each day
If someone happens to be able to let me use some floor space and a shower near buy for the few nights that would be appreciated

HELP - Onsite organiser/coordinator needed
Looking Good folks but have a minor problem.
Because I won't be there this year we really need an on site organiser/coordinator or maybe two. Who have a bit of time Thursday arvo to set the stand up ready for Friday's opening.
Superbunny is doing the roster but is unable to do any of the onsite work, like setting up, getting Exhibitor Badges, getting people in to help out, etc
Jim and Irene from Carrolls Woodcraft supplies will be bringing banners, handouts, monitor, photos, etc but we will also need a loan of a laptop for the 3 days to run the powerpoint presentation on.
Will also need at least one or two to pack up Sunday night and deliver everything back to Carroll's stand to be brought back to Geelong.
I will give whatever assistance I can from Geelong, Jim will help out with any problems etc on site (if he's able) but his main focus and attention will understandably be on his own stand.
If any one would like to step up or be pushed up for the job please let me know ASAP and I will contact you with any and all help that I can give. Not a really hard job but a reasonably important one as without someone to get it happening on site it may not happen at all.
Cheers - Neil
PS We could still do with a few more helping hands over the weekend. If you can help please respond here ASAP so Superbunny can get you onto the roster.

Hi Neil, I'm happy to help with the Thursday night setup. I can be there all day Friday & again Sunday, if necessary, & have offered to help pack up, so that's one person for you. Having been a local organiser in the past I have some idea what goes on, so I can be the one to get there & hand out the Exhibitor badges for the first morning. With luck, my mobile won't decide to kark in the middle of the show, this time....
Maybe this will flush a few more helpers out of the woodwork, to fill the gaps. I'm donating three prizes for a draw at the end of the show. All helpers who turn up (on time! ) and put in their time-slots go in the hat.
First prize, an Olive (cutting) gauge: Olive cutting g.jpg
Second prize, Myall small (pin) gauge: Myall pin g.jpg
Third prize 'Ebonized' River oak marking knife: River oak knife.jpg
Cheers,IW

Thank you very much for that Ian. Greatly appreciated.
I'll be in touch via PM some time in the next few days with a bit more info and the PowerPoint presentation, etc.
Cheers - Neil
