Ian and Neil
Ditto wot Neil said. The second pic (Myall gauge) is still not showing up.
Being the proud possessor of a couple of Ian's bespoke tools, actually make that three, oh, hold on, there's the frame saw too , I can say that they are beautifully made from really special timbers. Apart from that, the're rubbish and I'm really hoping no one else turns up, so I can take first, second and third prize . Did I just give my game away?
Even if you don't win, and I hope you don't , there is a great sense of camaraderie and in the couple of years I have participated I've made firm friends. I have also put faces to names on the forum. Well worth while and thoroughly recommended.
I suppose I'll be trampled in the rush now .

It's becoming increasingly tempting to drag SWMBO along for a day.
Shame I have already conned her into a charity event for Friday night.

Neil ... things are looking good for me to be there. I helped set up Canberra, not that there is alot to it but have done it before. If I am there I should be able to be there Thursday for set up. Have not heard anything of being on the roster but happy to do a bit each day and can help with pack up.
Should be able to give a firm word by Wednesday ... chasing a more $$

I can do a couple of hours on Saturday. I will be safer than wandering around spending money and eating chips.
My age is still less than my number of posts

I'm also pretty new (to the forum and to woodwork) but I'll help out on Sunday, any time, to give Dave a bit of a break,
as long as I come with a "Doesn't know much" disclaimer.
I'm willing to put in for pack up on Sunday as well, if needed.
cheers, Kozi

Forum Stand - HELP WANTED - Brisbane T&WWW Show 2014
Hope its ok to post here for a request? I will likely do a seperate post as well. I am after a piece of 90x90x600, even 500 would be long enough - it will be turned and needs to be defect free. Something that looks interesting like hairy oak or bull oak or anything else that has some character about it.
Not sure what will be available on the stands so on the off that one of the members might have something. It needs to be something reasonably stable. Happy to pay a fair price.
