Christos no photos no proof and it doesn't take much to excite you we all know that and its through that wide eyed glaze we see you with gives hope of another great show.

To all who venture to the show have a great time I will miss being there yet again but family comes first around this time each year.

First day tomorrow go for it and remember please.

Default A very special Thank You to

A very special Thank You to Peter Woods [aka pa woods] who came to the show from Griffiths...

I'd met Peter at the show 3 years ago, becoming friends on the forum with toymaking & scroll-saw work, plus caught up again at the Jerilderie gathering in January....even purchased some of his top woodwork.

Peter and his wife came to the forum stand to SAY G'DAY and blew me away, Peter handed over a key-tag gift, "crowie".............

How can you not appreciate this forum and the folk you put in on it!!!
    Cheers and Thank you Peter...

There are many reasons to go to any of the Woodworking Shows and Crowie has covered some of them above, friends, fellow woodworkers, idols ....and new Burfitt pliers (4 new ones this year!) ...but for me, one of the great joys is watching Big Stan work his magic. That man is a LEGEND!
Last year i watched him invite a cautious Italian tourist and guitar player into his stand and, within minutes, there was a olive-oil-tin guitar, banjo and wooden chest bass jam session that was worth the entry price on its own.
    This year .......

...I had the joy of watching Big Stan sharpen a saw while one student played one of Stan's 'real' guitars, another on the drum and then Stan stands, produces a megaphone and harmonica ..... and adds the blues!
    The place was PUMPING!
    I'm still on a high!

There are some absolutely fantastic work that have been produced in the HSC section.

This is the first photo that you guys see from Crowie. I was there on Thursday for the setup and when I originally walked pass there were only a few pieces but by the end of Thursday it was full. Some amazing pieces that had been created.
