Default I'm getting on a plane!

Well this was totally unplanned! I was just sitting in the lounge room watching some telly while my wife was checking her emails on the laptop, she said "there are $49 flights from Adelaide to Melbourne, is there anything you want to go there for?" I said yea, the wood show. She said okay, googled the dates and booked the flights. So I will be in Melbourne for 3 days and going to the show on Friday. only problem is how much wood can I take home on a plane??? I haven't been to a timber and working with wood show before.

    Cool

A good trip to take! Wood shows are great for meeting people and getting ideas.

Ask the airline if they have roof racks!

I hope to meet some people from the forum there. Will Woodwork forum have a stand? I've booked an extra 20kg bag for the flight home!

Don't forget to apply for your visa - immigration can be difficult if you don't have the correct paperwork.

I demonstrated at the 1998 Melbourne Wood Show exactly one week after the Crows won back to back premierships.

Did I give them Victorians heaps.

I dressed Vic Wood's lathe in crows colours. He was real good about it and wondered all weekend who had done it.

    Cheers
    Tim
