While I am compiling the roster for the forum stand at the WWW show in Melbourne this year it will be necessary for me to bump up this thread a few times.

To keep it interesting, and in keeping with my being a proud former member of the Australian Army. In this period of the centenary of WW1, I will be posting an image of an Australian WW1 recruiting poster each time I bump the thread.

Hopefully that will create point of interest. We are of course asking for volunteers as they were back in WW1 but the risk factor is a lot less. Here is the first one.

    Please enjoy

It's excellent to see the east getting on with the west.
Or is it the north getting on with the south

Matt is going to need some helpers on Friday and Saturday and we still need someone to coordinate things on Sunday. Whoever that is will need helpers too.

Don't wait until it is too late - put your names down now!

Come on folks. We still need someone to hold down the fort from around 9:30am on Sunday until Pauline and I can get there in the early afternoon. We also need more helpers for all days especially Saturday and Sunday

So far we only have a handful of people for Friday, Matt on Saturday and no one for Sunday.

I realise it's still very early days but if we don't get a lot more interest in the next couple of weeks I will have to inform the organisers that we won't be able to man a stand in Melbourne this year.

    Cheers - Neil

PS I have deleted some posts from this thread to keep it on track.

OK members, the boss has just upped the ante. Lets see some people volunteering to help out the forum we all enjoy.

First draft of the roster will be published here tomorrow.

Pagie, are you volunteering to be the coordinator on Sunday until Neil can get there in the afternoon?

Meanwhile, check out this historical WW1 recruiting poster. It pretty much sums up what we need to do here.

    Cheers

First edition. Now we need to get all the red to turn green by writing names in the boxes.

EDIT: the roster is a bit small, I found out after posting. I will play around with it and make it more readable later, no time now

    Come on guys,
If we want a wood show
    We need some help.
Also do you really want to read about me and Doug begging pleading for the next month or so.
    We would sound pathetic.

Wow this is so quiet on the Melbourne front.

Am I guessing that the war banners might be scaring people off?
Maybe we should start hug a Woody so that people feel loved.
