Usually the coordinator will have passes and everyone on the roster for the day will have the coordinator's mobile number delivered via PM before the show.

This year I imagine that there might have to be some arrangement made to ensure Pagie has all he needs on Sunday morning.

Maybe someone who will be there at close on Saturday and is coming back Sunday morning might be able to help out?

It's not my call on how it will be done, just making a helpful suggestion.

I am unable to put my name down as my timetable could mean I can't make the show at all. As it's still a little way off I can't concrete anything in, but if I can make it (fingers crossed) I'll certainly annoy the boys on the stand for a bit.

I'm sorry I can't actually be of assistance.

Hopefully (provided the show continues and a stand is generously donated again) there is always next year

    Sorry

    Thanks Gab,

If you do make it to the show, instead of just "annoying the boys on the stand" you could let the coordinator know that you are there and able to fill in if one of the rostered people people does not turn up, or if it gets busy, lend a hand anyway.

Once the roster as it is gets filled, I might open up a couple of spots for reserves for each day to do just that. Neil might even agree to give them free admission as well if they help out for an hour in addition to the two members that are rostered if they do not have to fill in for someone who cant make it.

And btw, manning the stand is not limited to "boys". The girls are welcome too and have done their bit in the past. In fact the first time I helped out in Melbourne I shared the stand with one of the female forum members.

So here is a WW1 recruiting poster for the girls too! Remember this is commemorating the "Centenary of Anzac and these are historical posters.

Forum Stand number is C6. Stand size his year it is 6mt x 3mt. Floor Plan attached.

Still need more volunteers to help out.

Ideally someone will need to come in on Thursday and pick up the passes or it will be a bit on the hard side to get in.

You will also need to have the phone numbers of those on the roster so they can be called to let people in.

Pauline and I will be in Thursday afternoon to set up and hopefully gone by around 4:00pm. We will not be able to get in Friday morning so won't be there to let in any volunteers.

    Cheers - Neil

All your doing is say "G'DAY" to the show patrons and offering them a flyer about the forum "AND IT'S ALL FREE" is the best catch to start a conversation.....

I've confirmed when we are coming down from NSW. We'll be there on Sunday, two of us (CAG and Geof Ford) are WWF members and we would like to be on the stand at the same time. 11-12 would suit us just fine. If we need to start at 10, we will have to leave a little earlier to guarantee our arrival in time for the opening. DaveTTC cannot come this year (unless I pick him up from Horsham!!!)
