Default Sydney Show - First Timer

    Hi All,

Only recently gotten into woodworking and it will be the first time i go to the TWWWS (sydney). Is there a "best" day to go? I'm tempted to take a day off work on the Friday to go on the first day.

    Any thoughts.

    Quite excited about it.

    Cheers, Dave

One of the things that you will notice is that people will have different opinions on why they go to a wood working show.

My current reasons for attending are a little different to when I originally went to the show. I think it will be beneficial if I wrote this in terms of my original thoughts of why I went.

    I was curious.

This was the main reason for attending the wood show. I only attended for one day and then only for part of that day. The following year(or the year after that) I decided to attend for all three days and I think I was counting down the months and days.

Normally the Friday morning is when the school kids are also attending the show and it can be a little crowded. But this sort of tapers off after lunch when most of the school kids have to be back on the bus. It would be at this time that you are able to stroll around a little bit slower.

For me one of the nicest things that I find is being able to chat to people, weather that is to demonstrators, retailers or like minded individually and all this in one location.

Not the best reply that I can give as it can be a little different for everyone when they attend the wood show for the first time.

What you eventually decide have fun attending.
