What's with all the hot cookies and tarts, I thought this was a woodwork show.

The cooks still come through the door as for the tarts these had to replace the two legged variety of the tool promotion type financial cut backs you see.
Well its the last day and so far all we have seen is whinging about NO ANZACS.
Not one mention of BARGIAN's, Tools or wood with photos of proof of same. Shame shame shame

I headed there yesterday. Overall, it was good. Every isle and stand had people at it. The hall is smaller so it was more 'packed', but still, the crowd didn't seem any smaller than the last few years.
There were a few new stalls too, I think. Bench Standard (www.benchstandard.com) is one, I got a few router bits off them and a catalogue which I will probably order from soon.
Other than that I got a few scrollsaw blades from Carroll's, and of course some Northern Silky Oak, Tassie Myrtle and Camphor off Greg.
I enjoyed it.

here's my little stash....
Here's my little stash....with Handy checking it all out, of course.....
2 secondhand Junior Handsaws & 6" Gripwell Square from the secondhand tool seller.....
2 bottles of Titebond Original from "Carrolls"...
1 bottle of Purbond Polyurethane Glue from "Drive Marine Services"....
1 off Garlick 20TPI Handsaw from "Carbitool"....
3 pack of 10" 60T circular saw blades from "VEK"...
1 off 6.25" 48T circular saw blade plus 6" Bahco Square from "VEK"....
This was an okay haul for a toymaker who was quite tired after a couple of hours of the Forum stand and the crowds of people on Friday....

Looks like you did well Crowie. You'll love those 150mm combination squares as they are so handy when doing small stuff.
The 10" saw blades seem like a bargain at 3 for $60. Unfortunately we don't get VEK tools at our show, nor do we get a secondhand dealer.
