Just got home from the Veritas Show at Carbatec. I am very comfortable with my decision to retire late last year but I have never been more comfortable with that decision than I am tonight after taking nearly 3 hours to drive the 60km home through Sydney traffic!
Shane was also at Carbatec and we had time for a quick chat. Shane has kindly offered to set up on Thursday, I will manage the spreadsheet for all 3 days and be caravan-meister on Friday.
NOW WE NEED MANY MORE VOLUNTEERS!
Come on blokes and girls, you know who you are, hands up ...... and quick! Don't make me write to you!

See Christos you had/have a good following NOW these rookie roustabouts have to gain some cred they have shown already it takes two to do what you alone normally do

Ithink more enticement is required Alan a coffee making machine, ANZAC's maybe some Banana bread.

BUT you're in Queensland now Ray so who's going to do the cooking as the ANZAC's have to be home made then what about servicing them, got have someone like yourself to moderate the sharing..

    PS - and not I.....

There you have it all those who have cooked or partners have cooked for the hord must have long given up.I haven't been for 3 yrs yet I know others have brought in goodies.

I would expect that buying pacs of ANZACS is now out of the question.

    Moderate the sharing?

Yep in QLD where today wore a T-shirt in the shed/garage all day.

OK everyone. I have (finally) prepared a spreadsheet for the WWF tent at the Sydney Timber and Working With Wood Show (STWWWS ) and will post it tomorrow.
We are fairly well off for manning the tent on Friday but Saturday and Sunday need a few more 'volunteers'.
For those who haven't done it before, here's a bit of a description
    • it IS fun
    • you get to meet many fellow forumites who you may have only previously contacted on-line
    • those manning and womaning the tent, hand out flyers and explain to passers-by the benefits of using and being a member of our forum
    • many people happily stop to chat and a surprising number are already forum members
    • it IS fun

In return for this FUN, you get FREE ENTRY to the show!
How about that FUN and FREE.
So, before I start APPOINTING volunteers, how about putting you hand up for an hour or 2 of good company?
I also want to take this opportunity to thank Shane and Ross for setting up and packing up , good job boys!

Roster as at 13 June, 2016

Thank you to those who have already volunteered and I hope the roster suits you? If not, please let me know and I will change it.
I will eventually request your mobile number but please note those columns will be hidden from general view and only available to the the caravan-meister.
There are many gaps on the roster so please put your hand up if you are attending and are interested in meeting fellow forumites,
